My name is Allison M Garcia, and welcome all to my blog! I’ll be writing little musings about my life, insights on my work-in-progress novel, and fun little tidbits about my thoughts on all things fantasy!

Firstly, a little bit about me. I’m originally from upstate New York, but currently reside in southern New Hampshire! I love to travel, go to concerts, attend renaissance faires, and most of all, I love to read.

While I read a variety of genres, my favorites will always be fantasy, romance, and young adult fantasy. I’ve always been drawn to the world-building, and the escapism that fantasy provides. Especially with the state of the world, sometimes you just want to read about a heroine with a sword in her hand taking on the greatest enemy the world’s ever seen, and getting that happy ending where she triumphs and defeats the evil.

In the novel I’ve been working on since 2021, we follow misfit goth girl, Ashlyn, as she discovers that she is a long lost princess from a mermaid clan residing off the coast of Florida. We follow her journey to discover herself, her found family, and possibly some forbidden romance as well! I’m excited to bring you all into my writing process, and keep you updated on all that I’m working on!
